I've been involved with these wonderful characters since xxxx. I've always been absolutely fascinated by the degree of technology incorporated into each of these characters. Only had one issue with them. The fact that they all just sit has made me a bit crazy. Open any of their Adventure story books or, watch Teddy's videos, and you will note that they are standing, walking, running, and only occassionally are they sitting. If you prefer them in the traditional Teddy Bear sitting position that is fine too. I can provide either.
Option 1
STANDING only - This ad is for your choice of one restored character in a Standing position only. These characters are no different as far as cassette access, companion jack access, and battery access. This will be an ongoing ad as my inventory allows. For those of you who already have WOW characters and would like them converted, that can be done also.
Standing Version - $100.00 plus shipping/handling
Grubby/Teddy, as well as Snoopy and Mickey, can now look as they do when you read along and listen as they relate any of their Adventure storys. A very big plus is that my Standing versions are much better protected against "blunt force trauma" which brought many of the WOW characters to an early demise.
Option 2
The Digital Teddy appears just as the original Teddy but no longer plays cassette Tapes. You will be provided a CD-R disc with all the Fourty stories in hi-grade MP3 format. Teddy can then perform from your MP3 player, Ipod, cd player, or one of many other playback devices which have a standard earphone jack. DigiTeddy comes in either my "Standing" or the original sitting position. No longer do you have to deal with expensive, hard to find, worn or damaged poor playing cassette tapes. DigiTeddy is compatible with Grubby.
The Ruxpin Answer Box and Ruxpin Picture show accessories are no longer compatible with DigiTeddy., as those two accessories depend on cassette on/off motor control of Teddy Ruxpin. DigiTeddy no longer uses a motor in the tape player giving you signifigantly longer battery life.

These, Standing Characters are very well suited to public performances, such as parks, classrooms and librarys as they display well, present very educational messages, and are much easier to see now. There are Daycare fascilitys in practically every town in America, and these guys can only prove to be a Daycare provider's Best Friend". One could change from one "Standing" character to another in a matter of seconds to provide an ever changing performance.
You will notice that some of my images present the characters on a flat black or decorative base. Other images show the characters mounted directly to a piece of appropriate furniture. These can actually be mounted to any surface sturdy enough to have two one inch holes drilled as you see in one image. the securing mounting hardware extends only 3/8" below mounting surface. My design allows one to change to other accessory outfits with little to no difficulty. Only a slight alteration to footwear, should it apply, is required.
In this auction, you have your choice of any one of these delightful characters. The models in the images were only meant to be models, so you will be provided with a "pick of the litter" from my inventory, restored character with it's original outfit.
DigiTeddys are available as inventory allows and require up to two weeks prep time.
